Autumn in New York 2018

Because of your support, we were able to celebrate our 38th year of service to Harlem’s children, youth and families at our 2018 Autumn in New York Gala! This year we gave a nod to those of you who have been great champions of our organization and made significant contributions to New York City at-large. Our honorees ranged from heroes in the area of community development like Alembic Community Development & Monadnock Development to Frederick Joseph who was the originator of the viral #BlackPantherChallenge, which gave a once-in-a-lifetime experience for over 500 BGCHarlem’s club members to see the historic Black Panther film. We also celebrated corporate members of our community, HSBC and Starbucks, who have been instrumental in seeding critical initiatives that have connected youth to comprehensive STEM learning opportunities and College and Career programming.

Our annual Autumn in New York Gala has always been about the togetherness that is essential to creating change for generations to come in the village of Harlem. Our services to the children and families in our communities would not go half as far without our sponsors standing beside us and enabling our efforts. #AINY18 was a testament to each of your strength and commitment to our organization and we look forward to reflecting on the memories and messages left with us during the celebration as it helps to keep us grounded in our work throughout the year!

Our evening celebrating Harlem's youth wouldn't have been possible without the help from our guests, contributors and sponsors!
