Boys & Girls Club of Harlem (BGCH), with the support of Carver Bank, NYC Men’s Initiative, New York University Urban Farm Lab, and Revolution Foods turned their protest into action by learning how they can affect positive change in the Harlem community.

Over the summer, they have taken a deep dive into issues related to food access in the Harlem community. This has included distributing fresh produce to over 100 households.

To culminate their summer, our youth hosted a virtual town hall on Thursday, August 27th, where they addressed key stakeholders to give voice to their concerns and how they plan to respond to these issues.
