BGCHarlem supports its members’ development of key executive functioning skills (resilience, persistence, collaboration, etc.) to support their overall self-efficacy and achievement of core youth development assets which lead to post-secondary achievement.

 Through literacy and cultural arts programming, BGCHarlem works to support youth in establishing their own personal agency through storytelling activities.

IN-SCHOOL SUPPORT

 Placement and supervision of Master’s of Social Work Interns to provide direct student support to address behavioral and developmental issues.

KEYSTONE CLUB

Leadership development activities that promote service-learning and civic engagement among high-school-aged club members. The group also informs programs and activities delivered at respective clubhouses and serves as peer mentors/ambassadors to other participating club youth.
