Volunteer Written Translator - Spanish

Boys and Girls Club of Harlem (BGCHarlem) is diligently working to support our members and their families as they transition to the new realities that COVID-19 presents.

 

We are in touch with our families regularly and seek to ensure that all of our families can access the resources and tools that we provide them at this moment. 

 

At this time, we seek volunteers who can quickly translate our communications from English to Spanish our electronic documents, and our academic activities for dissemination. 

 

The following is required to volunteer:

 

• Fluency in writing and speaking Spanish

• Computer and Internet Access

• Ability to provide between 2-4 hours per week for the next 8 weeks

 

Training/Support Provided: Volunteers will be supported by senior staff with regular check-in to ensure that questions are answers.

 

Benefits: Volunteers will positively impact the Harlem community hit especially hard during this turbulent time and ensure youth and families what they need during this time.
